Ernst & Young LLP poll asks corporate tax professionals about the House tax reform proposal

Corporate tax professionals were polled during a November 2 webcast on the House tax reform proposal, hosted by Ernst & Young LLP. Most corporate tax respondents (65%) anticipate comprehensive US business tax reform is likely to happen in 2018, with almost half (45%) most interested in lower business income tax rates. Based on expectations, 46% are modeling the effects of proposals on operations, but only 9% are engaging with policy makers on aspects of the proposal.
